The Dassault Falcon Jet service center in Little Rock, Arkansas recently completed a rejuvenation of the aircraft interior and exterior. Following the Pre-Purchase Evaluation (PPE) of the aircraft, DFJ began the “1C” inspection, interior modifications and paint for a new owner. The “C” inspection is the most comprehensive inspection and is completed every 8 years.
Taking advantage of the downtime, DFJ transformed the interior into a new look with a uniquely designed 32 inch flip-up monitor built into the newly designed, larger credenza. This offers convenient viewing for passengers sitting in the four place mid-cabin dining area. In addition, DFJ installed new stone flooring in the entranceway, galley, and forward and aft lavatories – another first in the F7X. This was completed while the interior seating was replaced with larger seats and upholstered in new customer selected leather. One divan was removed and replaced with two single seats, and the original divan was refurbished and modified to remove the flip down armrest and replace it with a fitted removable armrest. The wood cabinetry was refinished and the aft closet redesigned to make it more functional for storage. The crew rest area was modified into a cabinet with a countertop for workspace and a new closet was installed between the cabinet and forward lavatory. The remaining cabin, cockpit, and lavatories soft goods were all replaced with new coordinating materials. When the interior was reassembled, it had a whole new look, along with some very unique features. The aircraft was delivered to the delight of the new owner.
“The DFJ teams are very experienced with Falcon interior and exterior rejuvenations and cabin reconfigurations,” said DFJ MRO SVP and COO Remy St-Martin. “The stone flooring and hidden credenza TV make this aircraft unique and the exterior paint was just the icing on the cake.”
